Tina Godfrey

Tina Godfrey, age 40, of Caro, went home to be cradled in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Covenant-Harrison in Saginaw. Tina Mullins was born on February 2, 1969 in Ashland, Kentucky to Clara (Devericks) Schultheis and the late John Mullins, Jr. Tina moved to Michigan in 1972 and was a 1988 graduate of Lake Orion High School. She spent much of her life struggling with health issues, but she loved to do crafts, was a very talented painter, had a very giving heart, and was a very thrifty person. She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, as well as her cat. Tina was an officer at TPP. She is survived by her mother, Clara (Carl) Schultheis of Caro; three siblings, Tanya (Don) Bristow of Caro, Bruce (Michelle) Mullins of Caro and Tronda Mullins and Micah of Clawson; her nieces and nephews, Joey, Jessy, Jacob, Chayna, Dayne, Brittney, Keara, Kandi, Tyler, Ali, Sammy and Mason; her special non-family nieces and nephews, JoJo, Justin and Cori; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Cameron Steele officiating. Burial will be held at New Hope Cemetery, Hope Township, Midland County on Monday at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Tina Godfrey family discretionary fund, c/o Clara Schultheis.
