Tishena Lee Kratz

Tishena Lee Kratz of Caro, age 29, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Shena was born April 22, 1992 in Cass City to Dean & Debbie (Duncan) Kratz. She graduated from Caro High School with the class of 2010 and began her career with the ReliaCare Agency in Caro as a home health aide. Following many years in homecare, Shena worked for road construction companies handling traffic control at work sites across the state. Most recently, she served as a resident caretaker and certified nursing assistant at the Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center in Caro. Shena was happiest when she was with family and friends and was always available for a road trip. She had very special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Tito, and enjoyed singing and gardening. Left to cherish Shena's memory are her parents, Dean & Debbie Kratz of Caro; sister, Miscena Kratz of Kentucky; paternal grandfather, Dean Kratz of Caro; aunts and uncles, Terry & Kristine Kratz, Donald Duncan, Darlene & Dezie Sanchez, Penny Manwaring and friend, Rick, Gale Duncan and friend, Eve, Dale Duncan, Renee Duncan and friend, Geno, David Duncan; and several cousins. Shena was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Luella Kratz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Ray Karr officiating. Burial will follow the service at Almer Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
