Tomas Reynero

Tomas Luna Reynero, Sr., age 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. He was born on August 1, 1946 in Georgetown, Texas to the late Jose “Martin” and Sabina (Luna) Reynero. Tomas came to Michigan from Texas in 1965. He was employed for 36 years at Grede (Eaton) Foundry in Vassar. Tomas thoroughly enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and watching and feeding the birds. Tomas life was his family and playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by ten children and their mothers; Maria Torrez Reynero and her children, Tomas L. Reynero Jr. and his wife Patty of Reese, Tony Reynero of Caro, Freddy Reynero Sr. and his wife Heidi of Caro, Cecelia Reynero of Caro, Arthur Reynero of Caro, Ramon Reynero of Caro; Amy Sanback and her children, Jason Sanback of Akron, Adam (Suzanna) Bragg of Vassar, Tanya (Chris) Volkert of Akron, Lorenzo Reynero of Caro; 27 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Juana Reynero of Canyon, Texas, Felipe Reynero of Saginaw, Jesusa (Gerrado) Rodriguez of Lansing, Anita Lopez of Lansing, Alejos (Maria) Reynero of Amarillo, Texas, Dorothy Cruz of Canyon, Texas, Rosa (Rudy) Medellin of Canyon, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lupe Valderez; and a grandson, Diego Reynero. The memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. with Elder James Lewis officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
