Toni Marie Herr

Toni Marie Herr, 63, of Caseville died Monday, January 4, 2016 at home while under hospice care.

Toni was born May 18, 1952 in Almont to the late Anthony and Constance (Printz) Heim. She graduated from Almont High School in 1970 as valedictorian. On June 13, 1970 she married Lonnie Herr in Imlay City.

Toni worked in a Northville dental office as a certified dental assistant and retired as an office manager. Having had a cottage on Sand Point for many years, she moved there permanently in 2014 from Canton. She enjoyed singing with her father and being a seamstress, having even made her own wedding dress.

She is survived by her husband Lonnie; children Gretchen (Jimmy) Lalko of Westland, Joshua (Jennifer) of Germany and Nathaniel (Laura) of Minnesota; grandchildren Ian, Seth, Jace, Evan and Briana; and brother Terry (Mary) Heim of Leonard.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00am Friday at St. Roch OLPH Catholic Church in Caseville with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. She will lie in-state on hour prior to mass in church on Friday.
