Travis Henry Jaster of Caro, age 23, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Born January 2, 1992, Travis is the son of Roy, Jr. & Pamela (Beckrow) Jaster and graduated in 2010 from Caro High School. Travis was a very driven and talented athlete and spent twelve years wrestling, where he was a three time State qualifier, placing second and fifth. He also played football for ten years until sustaining an injury and couldn't play anymore. While in high school, he began work with Henry Jaster Construction, and farming, occupations that suited his unstoppable work ethic and love of animals. He also enjoyed driving tractors, and took his training from the family business to work as a heavy machine operator and truck driver for James E. Fulton & Sons Excavating in Kalamazoo. Travis just recently returned to Caro and to Henry Jaster Construction. He was happiest outside and naturally curious, interested in learning every detail about the jobs he performed. Travis adored his nieces and nephews and could often be found boating, riding his quad and horses, or sitting by a bonfire. He lived his life for others, and spent his short time with us making those around him smile. Travis was a member of the St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Campus, in Caro. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Roy, Jr. & Pamela Jaster of Caro; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Mindy & Michael Stine of Caro, Melissa & Brian Osborn of Caro, Trevor Jaster and his fianc, Rochelle Campbell, of Caro; paternal grandmother, Sharon Jaster of Caro; maternal grandmother, Sharron Beckrow-Stambaugh of Bad Axe; four nieces and nephews, Owen and Aubrey Stine, Vanessa and Emmett Osborn; and his girlfriend, Stephanie Carpenter of Caro. Travis was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy Alvin Jaster, Sr.; and maternal grandfather, Jackie Raymond Beckrow.
