Troy Alexander Grote

Troy Alexander Grote, 50, formerly of Caseville, died September 3, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw.

Troy was born August 6, 1964 in Farmington Hills. He graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia in 1983. He had lived in Caseville for many years and was formerly an active volunteer and member with the Caseville Eagles Club. He was helpful and friendly, quick to lend a hand wherever he could, making friends along the way.

He is survived by his daughters Amber (Andrew) McMullen of Taylor and Arlene (Nicholas Peters) of Houghton Lake; grandchildren Tyler, Colton, Alyse, Kaleb and Konner; siblings Tony (Cindy) Grote of Redford, Michelle (Eugene) Smith of South Lyon, Lisa (Don) Wilson of Florida; father Ron Grote of Florida; and the mother of his children Roberta McFalls of Dearborn. He was preceded in death by his mother Denise Grote.

No services are planned. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville.
