Troy Kevin Martens II of Caro, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home. Our strong and caring son, father, brother, and uncle was born November 11, 1988 in Saginaw, the son of Tracy (Stevens) Hood and Troy Kevin Martens. Troy attended Caro High School and went on to work at several dairy farms, receiving his certification in milking, among the many other jobs he excelled in. He was a lover of the outdoors and could often be found taking his sons on walks or wandering through the trees. Troy enjoyed playing video games, anime, hunting, fishing, and above all, spending time with his family and sons. Troy's goofy and fun-loving soul will be missed for years to come. Troy leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Tracy & Rodney Hood, Troy & Jayne Martens; sons, Ezekiel, Damon, Ryker, and Ian; the mother of Damon and Ryker, Meghan; siblings, Hether, Zack, and Russell; nieces and nephews, Sylas, Jaycie, Harper; grandparents, Nelda Stevens, Roger & Darlene Hood; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Troy was welcomed home to heaven by his grandparents, Russ & Shirley Martens, and James Stevens. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
