Tyler D. Parrish

Tyler Drew Parrish of Caseville, age 32, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 2, 2025.

Tyler was born in Saginaw on October 14, 1992, the son of Shawn Parrish and Tonya Haldane. He attended Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port School, graduating from Cass City High School with the class of 2012. Tyler was a plumber by trade and worked for Chad's Heating & Plumbing and Jake's Plumbing. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville, where he was baptized and confirmed.Tyler was engaged to Shelby Cilc, and together they shared their beloved three-year-old son, Jax. Jax was Tyler's world, their bond was one of pure joy, filled with laughter, adventure, and fun times in the garage. Tyler was truly a wonderful father, always putting his son’s needs above his own and just giddy to be a dad. Not only was he a great dad, he was an amazing friend. Tyler would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed hunting and taking walks down to the river. His love, smile, and laugh will always be missed and remembered by his family, friends, and most of all, his son Jax.

Tyler leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Tonya Haldane and Shawn & Vickie Parrish; fiancé, Shelby Cilc; their son, Jax Parrish; sisters, Shelby (Jamie) Carlisle and Payton Parrish; niece and nephews, Onalee, Miles, & Archie Carlisle; grandparents, Robert & Sharon Haldane, Garry McKellar, and Don & Peggy Parrish; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tyler was preceded by his infant daughter, Emma; grandmother, Janice McKellar; good friend, Brody Truemner.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville with Rev. Chris Suggitt officiating.
Visitation will be 2-6 Sunday at Champagne Funeral Chapel and again at church on Monday 10-11. Memorials may be made to the family wishes, c/o Shelby Cilc, for their son, Jax.
