V. Downing

Walt Disney lost his greatest fan when June passed away Friday, July 27, 2007, at the Tuscola County Medial Care Facility. She passed peacefully, with her family at her side, at the age of 89. June was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and an avid collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hugs, and 248,563 mice for her many friends and family. June is survived by her children, Leon & Sheryl Scott of Haines City, FL., Peggy Hutton of Caro, Danny & Deb Scott of Lake Wales FL., Kim B. Scott of Haines City, FL., DeeAnn Downing of Park City, UT., Richard & Cora Lou Downing of Caro, Robert & Karen Downing of Sandusky, and Burton & Lynne Downing of Sandusky, one brother and his wife Richard & Micki Sparling of Lake Wales, FL., a very special friend Joann Freeland, her grandchildren and their spouses, Sherri & Brent Harrington, Kerri & Mark Britton, Rob & Susan Downing, Tammi Hutton, Craig & Betty Scott, Traci & Dave Montgomery, Tracy Blanton, Scott T. Scott, Brian & Shelly Nowland, Kyra Downing-Krepela, Khai Downing-Krepela, Ross & Linda Downing, Kelli & Heath Jackson, Steven “Biff” & Jeanne Downing, Shelli & Mike Colosky, Margie Downing, Jennifer & Neil Hyde, Jeffrey & Anna Downing, Kelly & Mark Titus, Bee Brookhouse and Joan Marshall, 43 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many special friends. June was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her parents, Carrie & Elwood Sparling, two sisters, Joy Weiler and Clover “Billy” Burt, one son E.J. Hutton, and a grandson, Brian Scott.
