Valeria C. Schultz

Valeria C. Schultz, age 85, of Sebewaing, died Saturday morning, May 26, at Bay Medical Care Facility, Essexville.
She was born July 17, 1921 in Detroit, to the late Farrand and Ethyl (Burroughs) Rowell.
On August 11, 1945, she was united in marriage to Robert F. Schultz in Muskogee OK where Bob was stationed in the Army prior going over seas.
They moved to Sebewaing in 1965, where she was very active, with her husband, in the operation of the Schultz Funeral Home until retiring in 1984. Bob preceded her in death November 26, 1999.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Surviving are two children, Paul (Joy) Schultz of Sebewaing and Carol Reige of Essexville; three grandchildren, Stacie (Mike) Barringer, Bridget Reige and Matthew Schultz; three great grandchildren, Jack, May and Ben; her sister, Shirley (Jim) Kerr of Fairhope, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM Wednesday, May 30, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Pastor Charles Kuhl will officiate with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Sebewaing.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday and from noon until services Wednesday.
