Vera Marie Jamison

Vera Marie Jamison, 91, of Caseville, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Huron County Medical Care Facility.

Vera was born August 20, 1925 in Flint to the late John and Charlotte (Sutkay) Look.  She moved from Flint to Caseville in 1985 to care for her mother who died in 2000.  She was a member of Hayes United Methodist Church, Caseville Retirement Club and a resident commissioner at Oakwood Apartments.  She enjoyed playing BINGO and time with friends.

She is survived by her sister Evelyn (Bruce) Protzman of Caseville and brother David (Linda) Holzworth of Traverse City; step children Joyce (Gordon) David and Robert (Connie) Jamison; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Jamison and siblings: Adeline, Ula, Marian, Evelyn, Darold and Clayton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, July 8th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Townshp Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon Saturday until the service time.
