Verna Williamson

Verna Ruth Williamson, age 86, of Crimora, Virginia passed into the presence of God on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fisherville, Virginia. She was born on July 25, 1923 in Caro, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Rickwalt. Verna married Vernon Lyle Dennis in 1941 and gave birth to seven children. After Vernon was electrocuted while doing construction work in 1954, she married Ralph Williamson. Ralph came into the family with five children after his wife Maureen was killed in an automobile accident. Their union produced three more children and Verna raised the fifteen children as one family. The family extends their sincerest gratitude to Verna
