Veronica C. Dolinski, age 95, of Pinnebog, died Friday evening, May 25, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.
She was born September 10, 1911, in Detroit to the late Martin and Stephaney (Huhla) Goryl.
On June 27, 1931, she was united in marriage to Walter J. Dolinski at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Detroit.
Mrs. Dolinski was a homemaker all her life and moved to Pinnebog in 1975, after her husband retired. He preceded her in death February 2, 1990.
She was a member of St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog and a former member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Detroit. Veronica enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles, and also loved to work in her garden.
Surviving are two children, Gloria (Stanley) Filar of Washington Twp. and William (Ruth) Dolinski of Sterling Heights; her son-in-law, John Pechette of Pinnebog; 13 grandchildren, Sue (Mark) Cook, Tom (Tracy) Pechette, Joyce Pechette, Jon (Denise) Pechette, Greg (Mary Lynn) Filar, Cindi (Dan) Richard, Ken (Debbie) Filar, Joe (Celeste) Filar, Rick Filar, Linda Filar (Louis), Carol (Jim) Prescott, Bonnie Dolinski and Todd (Jennifer) Dolinski and 28 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Mildred Pechette and a granddaughter, Janet Filar.
A funeral mass will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 29, at St. Felix Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Yaroch, pastor will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. A family rosary service will begin at 7:30 PM Monday evening at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Monday and at the church after 10 AM Tuesday.
Memorials may be directed to the church.
