Viola Lucille Kemp

Viola Lucille Kemp of Caro, age 90, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at AGAPE Care Systems in Caro. Lucille was born June 17, 1928 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late David Grant and Mildred Roslyn (Brady) Trisch. She was united in marriage with Andrew Kemp on June 2, 1951, and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2000. Lucille was an active member of the Caro Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school for several years. Lucille is survived by four children, Judy Kemp and her husband, Carlo Lombardo, of Chicago, Illinois, Philip Kemp of Caro, Thomas Kemp of Gary, Indiana, Gena & Sudhir Chhikara of Fort Collins, Colorado; son-in-law, Peter A. Lombardo of Pell Lake, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Natalie Ochab and her husband, David, of Glenview, Illinois, Peter F. Lombardo of Chicago, Illinois, Mina, Kirin and Tiberius Chhikara of Fort Collins, Colorado; three great-grandsons, Christian, Daniel and Zachary Ochab; one sister-in-law, Henrietta Trisch of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by two children, David Kemp and Linda Kemp; step-son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Paulette Haber; and siblings, Howard Trisch, Basil Trisch, Emily Bedtelyon, and Pauline Stem. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Caro Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Paul McNett officiating. Burial will follow at East Dayton Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Church of the Nazarene.
