Marion returned to Port Hope in 2001 where she was active in St. John Lutheran Church and the retirees and travel clubs.  She married Vern in 2005 and moved to Pigeon where she attended the Mennonite Church with Vern.  She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, gardening, cooking and card playing.

Marion is survived by her husband, Vernon; son, Andrew (Maureen) McGee of Toms River, NJ and their children Kathryn and Andrew, Jr. (Savannah) and son, Gary (Linda) McGee of Oxford, and their children Kellen and Connor.  She is also survived by Vern’s children, Benny (Laura) Beachy of Bay Port, Lenny (Linda) Beachy of Nashville, TN, Kenny Beachy of Caro, Jill (John) Champagne of Elkton and Denise Beachy of Detroit and large extended, Fankhauser, Penner, Fuhrman, McGee, and Beachy families.

Preceding her in death were her husband Eldon McGee, her husband Wm. Scott Miller, her brother and his wife Freeman and Alma Fankhauser, her sister and her husband Shirley and James Dalton and Vern’s   son, Brad.

Per Marion’s wishes a private service will be held at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Port Hope, with Rev. David A. Dodge officiating, where Marion was baptized, confirmed, and first married.  Interment will be at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi, alongside Eldon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michigan Avenue Mennonite Church, Pigeon or St. John Lutheran Church, Port Hope.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
