Virginia M. Carr

Virginia M. Carr, age 79, of Elkton died Friday evening, March 21, at Helen Ellis Hospital, Tarpon Springs, FL.
She was born January 31, 1929 in Grant Twp. at the home of her parents, the late William and Elizabeth (Walsh) Seley.
On Oct 19, 1946, she was united in marriage to F. Keith Carr at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elkton.
In 1958, Virginia began working at the Elkton Elementary School; she served at secretary for almost 30 years retiring from EPBP Schools in July of 1988.
She was a long time member of the Elkton United Methodist Church, Elkton Women's Civic Club, Elkton Extension Club and was a den mother for Cub Scouts for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Keith of Elkton; two children, Mark (Kim) Carr of Elkton and Bethany (Tom) Quinn of Sparta and three grandsons, James Quinn, Scott (Melissa) Carr and Daniel Quinn.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Elizabeth Jane Leach.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, March 27, at the Elkton United Methodist Church. Rev. David Collins, pastor will officiate with burial in Grant Twp. Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and at the church after 10 AM Thursday.
