Virginia Mae "Ginny" Lohrmann Mill

Virginia Mae "Ginny" Lohrmann Mill, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Scheurer Hospital Long Term Care Facility in Pigeon. Ginny was born in Frankenmuth on May 31, 1927 to Carl and Florence (Rummel) Lohrmann. They came to Sebewaing in the early 1930's to start a bakery. Ginny was confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church. She graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1945. She worked in the bakery until it was sold to John Balk in 1956. On November 22, 1956 she married Raymond Mill. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1966.

Ginny was known for her great sense of humor, a love of playing cards and being a great cook and pie baker.

Ginny is survived by her loving sister, Margaret (Fred) Edler of Peigeon and one sister-in-law, Sadie Lohrmann of Ashville, NC. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and 5 special god sons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Carl.

Visitation at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 2-8pm.

Funeral at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing, on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Visitation will take place at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church General Fund or the Sebewaing Lion's Club.
