Virginia D. Krywko

Virginia D. Krywko of Caro, age 98, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community, with her loving family at her side. Virginia was born November 20, 1924, in Detroit, the daughter of the late John & Mary (Gembic) Krywko. After graduating high school, Virginia went on to work for Saginaw Steering Gear as a billing clerk. She was a member of the Caro Garden Club, the Polish American Club, and an active member of St. Christopher Parish in Caro, where she participated in the women's altar society. In her spare time, Virginia enjoyed crossword puzzles, word games, euchre, golf, bowling, and was a huge Detroit Tigers fan. She also loved to travel. Virginia is survived by two nieces and one nephew, Lori Krywko of Caro, Eugene Paul Krywko of Caro, Diann Krywko and husband, Christopher Sjolander, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; great-nieces and great-nephew, Sarah Weingartz, Nikolai, Genevieve, and Vivienne Sjolander, Virginia's namesake, for whom she had a special place in her heart. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Irene; and her brother, Eugene. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. Christopher Coman officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro.
