Virginia Catherine Luckritz Jessup, 97 of Caseville, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City.
Born May 26, 1914 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Minnie (Trupo) Tropea. On November 19, 1938 she was married to Edward Paul Luckritz in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 1979. On October 8, 1983 she was married to Paul H. Jessup at St. John Lutheran Church, Pigeon, and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1992.
Virginia was a homemaker throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Caseville Retirement Club and the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Caseville Library Club and the Caseville Ladies Golf Club. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Pigeon, and a former member of the Ladies Aid.
Her survivors include a sister, Margaret Carter of Wolverine; a brother, Leonard (Grace) Tropea of Eastpointe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church, Pigeon, with Rev. James A. Gorsegner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

AND AT ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, PIGEON:
Monday 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m.
