Virginia "Ginny" Joyce Walker

Virginia "Ginny" Joyce Walker of Caro, age 74, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. She was born October 13, 1948 in Bad Axe, the daughter of the late William and Helene (Creguer) King. Virginia graduated from Kingston High School and has been a lifelong member of the Moose. She was united in marriage to Robert Walker, Sr. on July 31, 1971. Their marriage was blessed with forty-three years, four children, and countless memories. Sadly, Robert passed away on February 25, 2015. Throughout life, Virginia enjoyed reading, quilting, and tending to her garden. She loved to play computer games and had the best times playing bingo. Above all else, Virginia cherished time spent with her family. She will be missed dearly. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Dawn (Larry Jacox) Ayres, Robert (Jennifer) Walker, Jr., Jolene (Thomas Teeple) Walker, and Brian (Melissa) Walker; grandchildren, Nicole, Shontyl, Mychaela, Travis, Jessica, Erica, Sarah, and John; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice Holland, Mike King, Allen King, Gary King, and Paul King; many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce King. In keeping with Virginia's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at the Caro Moose Lodge on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Moose Lodge, 1366 E Caro Rd, Caro, MI 48723.
