Wallace W. Volz

Wallace W. Volz, age 74, of Sebewaing, died unexpectedly Friday, April 25, 2025 in his home.

Wallace was born in Pigeon on February 9, 1951 to Clare and Lena (Schneider) Volz. Wallace attended Sebewaing High School and graduated in 1970. He worked on the family farm until he graduated high school. He then went to work for the Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing, from there he retired.

Wallace was pretty much a home body as he had several health issues. He was a very kind hearted person to his close friends and neighbors.

Wallace is survived by his brother, Dale (Lisa) Volz; niece, Marlene (Steve) Forbes; great nieces: Megan (Matt) Franklin, Kendra Walker; and 2 great great nieces.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Volz; sister, Marilyn Sylvester; and brother-in-law, George Sylvester.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Burial will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11am at Ellington Twp. Cemetery, Corner of E. Dutcher Rd and Hurd's Corner Rd., Caro, MI 48723.
