Wanda Weller

Wanda Weller of Caro, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Wanda was born September 4, 1941 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Jacob Earl and Violet Frances (Litner) Spencer. On September 17, 1960, Wanda married Harvey Weller. Together they shared nearly fifty-nine devoted years of marriage before Harvey’s passing on July 22, 2020. Wanda worked at several local businesses over the years, including Kroger, Ames, and Bill’s Foodland in Caro. Above all, Wanda was a loving and devoted mother. Her greatest joy came from raising her children and nurturing her family with kindness and unwavering love.

Left to cherish Wanda’s memory are three children, Carol (Bill) Burns of Kingston, David Weller (Dorothy Janowiak) of Sandusky, and Larry (Becki) Weller of Caro; two grandchildren, Linda (Jeremy) Wylie, and Ashley Droelle of Caro; great-grandchildren, Madison Wylie, Braden Wylie, Promise Droelle, and Harvey Horak; and sister, Luella Kerbyson of Midland. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Wanda was preceded in death by a son, Gary Weller; five brothers, James, Doyle, Leonard, Bernard, and Lyle Spencer; three half-brothers, Mason Spencer, Wayne Spencer, and John Marsh; and half-sister, Rose Ulschaffer.

Wanda’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Residential Hospice for the compassionate care and loved they showed to Wanda during her final days.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Wanda’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
