Warren G. Donahue, Sr.

Warren G. Donahue, Sr., age 66, of Sebewaing, passed away November 20, 2025, under the care of United Hospice Service in Marlette, with his family by his side.

Warren was born in Bay City on March 3, 1959, to Warren G. Donahue and Dorothy (Hartman) Donahue. He graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School in 1977. On April 22, 1978, he married Cindy Severn at the RLDS Church in Owendale. He worked as a control operator and mechanic for Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing for 40 years from 1979-2019. He enjoyed coin collecting, yard work, being outside, NASCAR, fishing, playing baseball and softball with the kids and playing frisbee.

Warren is survived by his wife, Cindy; children: Warren (Liz) Donahue, Jr., Katie (Shaun) Gremel and Terry (Stephanie) Donahue; grandchildren: McKenzie (Chase) Hoisington, Brady Donahue, Seth Gremel, Jenna Gremel, Molly Gremel and Luke Gremel; great granddaughter, Ellie Hoisington; sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step family, cousins and friends.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents: Warren Donahue and Dorothy (Gerald) Rievert; sister, Barbara L. Donahue and infant brother, Warren A. Donahue.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2pm-8pm.

The memorial service will be Friday, December 5, 2025 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Pastor Laurie Koirula will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or to the family (c/o Cindy Donahue).
