Warren Richard Meissner

Warren R. Meissner, 76, of Caseville, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon.

Warren was born October 7, 1946 in Bay City to the late Max and Ruby (Kain) Meissner. He graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1964. He married Thelma King March 27, 1971; she preceded him in death on January 5, 2000. He retired in 2017 from Caseville Public School as the facility manager, taking care of the grounds, buses and building. He previously worked for Quinn Shell Gas Station as a mechanic and was on the Caseville Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, yard work, watching football and spending time with his grandchildren.

Warren is survived by his daughters Bridgett Patterson of Jacksonville, NC, Stacey (Shawn) Diebel of Muir; grandchildren Brittany (Meaghan), Joshua (Nicholas), Allyson, Jordyn, and Bradyn; great-grandson Jonah; siblings Maureen (Ed) Kusek, Max (Mary Jo) Meissner and Renee (Jim) Bauer; sister-in-law Diane Stahl; and close friends Ron and Patti Atwood. He was preceded in death by his siblings Sharon (Ralph) Finkbeiner and Dennis Stahl.

Visitation will be Noon to 6:00pm Sunday, November 27th at the Caseville Public School Auditorium. Interment will be in Caseville Twp Cemetery. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caseville Public School (Athletic Fund).
