Warren Miller

Warren Miller of Fairgrove, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his home. Warren was born April 11, 1944 in Saginaw, the son of the late Warren C. & Neoma (Lee) Miller. In 1962, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Shortly after his honorable discharge, he was united in marriage with the former Leeila Powell on June 10, 1967 in Fairgrove. Warren worked as a machine operator and house mechanic for Michigan Sugar in Caro, retiring in 2006 after twenty-eight years of dedicated service. He was an avid collector, especially of NASCAR memorabilia, coins, and baseball cards. He enjoyed traveling with Leeila, cooking, working in the yard, and tinkering in his barn. The beautiful flower boxes he built for his yard are a comforting reminder of his many talents. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of fifty-two years, Leeila Miller of Fairgrove; three grandchildren, Destiny, Warren, Alexis and her husband, Aaron; great grandchildren, Aspyen and Andrew; his loving sisters; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his son, Charles Miller; one brother; and one sister. In keeping with Warren's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Miller Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Leeila Miller, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
