Watson Hudson

Watson M. Hudson, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. Watson was born April 29, 1919 in Caro, the son of the late George & Waneta (Parker) Hudson. He was united in marriage with the former Kathryn Drager on December 16, 1939 in Kilmanagh, and the couple cherished over sixty-nine years together. Watson owned and operated a farm west of Cass City for thirty-six years, retiring in 1980. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and hunting. Watson is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Hudson of Caro; two daughters and their spouses, Judy & Perry Hoagg of Lake Orion, Kay & Richard Campbell of Lake Orion; eight grandchildren and their spouses, David Johnson of Texas, Darrin & Tami Johnson of Texas, Maryann & Rick Stephenson of Utah, Perilyn & Dave Decker of Metamora, Doug & Lora Hoagg of Lake Orion, Dawn Konopka of Georgia, Lori Campbell of North Branch, Phil & Dawn Campbell of Oxford; fourteen great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Larry Johnson of Utah and many nieces and nephews. Watson was preceded in death by one daughter, Jo Ann Johnson.
