Wendell K. Koehn

Wendell K. Koehn, age 52 of Harbor Beach, died Monday, October 20, at his home from respiratory problems.
He was born December 12, 1955 in Harbor Beach, son of the late Arnold and Elda (Koglin) Koehn and lived in the Harbor Beach area all his life.
After graduating from Harbor Beach High School in 1974, Wendell worked at Merrified's Market five years. He then was employed at Unell Manufacturing in Harbor Beach for 22 years retiring for health reasons.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harbor Beach and was an avid University of Michigan sports fan.
Surviving are four brothers, Arnold (Shirley) Koehn of Harbor Beach, Carl (Lorraine) Koehn of Clare, Loren (Debbie) Koehn of Palms and Jeff (Brenda) Koehn of Harbor Beach; five sisters, Beverly (Melvin) Hartz of Filion, Yvonne (Pete) Reinke of Grand Rapids, Betty (Tim) Loewe of Saginaw, Diana (Laurie) Soper of Rochester Hills and Jamie (John) Healy of Harbor Beach and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was an infant brother, Michael and a sister, Angenia Perrine.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, October 24, at Zion Lutheran Church, Harbor Beach. Rev. David McClosky, pastor will officiate with burial in Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach.
A scripture service will be conducted 7:30 PM Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Thursday and at the church after 10 AM Friday.
