Wendy Louise Krebs

Wendy Louise Krebs, 62, of Port Austin, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital in Bad Axe.

Wendy was born September 17, 1955 in Detroit to Eleanor (Mietz) and the late John Guinness.  She graduated from Detroit’s Finney High School.  She married David Krebs June 9, 1979 in Detroit.  She and her husband owned Krebs Lane Cottages in Port Austin.  She enjoyed sewing, crafts and making jewelry.

She is survived by her husband David; children Lisa (Barry) Pochmara of Detroit, Matthew (Alicia) of St. Clair Shores and John of Ferndale; grandchildren Andrew, Hudson, Maxwell and Delilah; mother Eleanor Guinness of St. Clair Shores; and sister Barb (David) Copi of Ann Arbor.  She was preceded in death by her father John and brother James Guinness.

A memorial gathering will be 1:30-4:30 Sunday, October 7th at Pepperoni Grill, 22411 Mack Ave, St. Clair Shores.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
