Werner E. Licht

Werner E. Licht, age 77, of Elkton, died Wednesday morning, May 28 at his home.
He was born February 18, 1926 at the home of his parents, William and Dorathea (Roeber) Licht in Oliver Twp.
Werner lived on the family farm all his life, farming until he retired in 1974.
He was a member of Cross Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his brother, Al (June) Licht of Bad Axe; two sisters, Meta Elftman of Elkton and Leona (Nelson) Beck of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are two brothers Ervin and Aldoph (Barney) Licht and three sisters, Delores Bendrey, Hilda Nieschulz and Lousie Ziegler.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, May 30, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Dallis Hudson, pastor of Cross Lutheran Church will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 29 and after 10 AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Cross Lutheran Church.
