Wilburn David Certain

Wilburn D. Certain, age 52, of Elkton, died Tuesday evening, January 4, at Scheurer Hospital following a long illness.
He was born September 30, 1952 in Huntsville AL to the late Wilburn C. and Dorothy P. (Wilkes) Certain and came to Michigan when he was seven.
Will moved to Huron County in 1993, from the Westland area after retiring from General Motors for health reasons. He had been a mechanic at G M in Ypsilanti for 15 years
He attended the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton and enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving are three children, Everett Certain, Jesse Certain and his fiancée', Angela, and Carrie Certain all of Pinckney; a brother, Bruce (Nanette) Certain of Garley, AL and three sisters, Marilyn (Larry) Johnson of The Colony, TX, Linda Certain of Westland and Janie (Larry) Wilson of Commerce Twp.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, January 8, at the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Rev. DeWeerd Smith, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of services Saturday.
