Wilda Mary Janeshek, formerly of Caro, Michigan, died on January 2, 2008 at her residence in Decatur, Alabama. She was born on September 30, 1918 in Broughton, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Johanna Zalaznik. She married Ralph Victor Janeshek on August 18, 1945 at Saint Rose Catholic Church in New Lexington, Ohio. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1996. Wilda was employed by Great Lakes Minerals in Vassar as a Lab Technician and Office Manager until her retirement in 1982. She was a long standing member of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Caro and Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur, Alabama. She was a member and volunteer for many organizations which include Sacred Heart Catholic School and Caro Community High School PTA, Council of Catholic Women, volunteer for Sacred Heart Bloodmobile and Kitchen Canteen, Church of the Sacred Heart funeral meal coordinator, American Red Cross, Caro, Michigan Bloodmobile volunteer for over thirty years, Caro Community Hospital Auxiliary, Caro Area Girl Scout leader -serving as Camp Counselor, two years Camp Director and one year Registrar, assisted with St. Marys Sewing Club (affiliated with Mitten Bay Council Girl Scouts). She had received the Sister Ann Seton Award given by Sacred Heart Womens Council and the American Red Cross 30 year Volunteer Award. She is survived by one son, Ralph Michael Janeshek (fianc
