Willard R. Butch

Willard R. Butch of Mayville, age 78, was born into eternal life on the evening of Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Heritage Hill Assisted Living in Caro. He was born April 6, 1943, the son of the late John and Monica (Lubeski) Butch. Willard graduated from high school and went on to work and retire from General Motors. He enjoyed farming in his younger years, and more recently, liked going to farm auctions. In 2003, Willard married the former Josefina Romero in Las Vegas. Together they shared over nineteen years and countless memories. Willard loved to snowmobile, fish, and spend time with his family. Willard leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, JoJo; children, Cherie (Robert) Swick, Sheila (Kevin) Tomlinson, and Rodney Butch; grandchildren, Ashley (Evan) Osentoski, Kaitlyn Swick, Megan Swick, Tyler (Ashley) Tomlinson, Cassandra (Trevor) Godley, Tricia (Brandon) Otulakowski, and Sara (Jordan) Houser; great-grandchildren, Emmett & Adin Osentoski, Hunter Tomlinson, Carter & Crew Godley, Ethan & Owen Otulakowski; brothers, Tom (Joann) Butch and John Butch; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Willard was welcomed home to heaven by his siblings, Adeline, Dennis, and Melvin. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Caro. Rev. Christopher Coman will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
