William A. Moore

William A. Moore, age 86, of Fairgrove, went home to be with our Lord on April 14, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Bill was born on March 17, 1940, in Caro, to Charles and Phoebe (Campbell) Moore. He worked for the Akron Elevator, Tuscola County Sheriff and Interstate Trucking. His past time included looking for hats and presenting pocket knives to Vietnam veterans. He presented a couple hundred over the years.

Bill is survived by his children: Carrie (David) Graf, Susan Moore, Steven (Becky) Moore, Timothy (Lisa) Moore; grandchildren: Ben (Vicky) Graf, Emily (Scottie Stroik) Graf, Joe (Ashley) Pelica, Kyle Moore, Sergei Moore, Tatyana Moore, Kaylee Moore, Mason Moore; great grandchildren: Addison, Caleb, Carter, Conrad, Joey, Natalia, Alana; sisters: Sandy Schafsnitz, Patty Howell; brother: Donald (Joyce) Moore; and special friend, Nona Cooper.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-laws, Thomas Schafsnitz and Wayne Howell.

Per Bill's request cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside committal service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Heartland Hospice and the staff at Bay View Gardens.
