William "Bill" Albert Harris

William "Bill" A. Harris, age 69, of Unionville, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Bill was born August 28, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Bert and Marie (Horanko) Harris. After graduating from Caro High School he joined the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He is a past Unionville Fire Department Volunteer and enjoyed bowling and watching Nascar.

Bill is survived by his wife, Debra; children: Lisa (Shane) Spriggs, Tom Harris, Troy Harris and Justin Harris; 6 grandchildren: Derek McAlpine, Kassy McAlpine, Devin, Madison and Kayla Harris, and Greenlee Harris; one great grandson, Dillon McAlpine; siblings: Kenneth Harris, James Harris, Bert, Jr. (Nancy) Harris, Robert (Shirley) Harris, Carol LaPounty, Joanne (Harold, Jr.) Williams, Beverly (Donald, II) Kain and Suzanne Goebel.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; several siblings; and granddaughter, Kassidy McAlpine.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm.

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
