William "Willy" James Burnham of Mayville, age 66, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at McLaren Flint with his family by his side. Willy was born March 6, 1956 in Caro, the son of the late William H. and Gladys (Davis) Burnham. He was a master at hanging drywall and a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Willy loved time spent with his family and lifelong companion, Louise Nolan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on cars, going to the races, and would only drive FORD trucks; if you had a Chevy, you were in for it. Willy loved to tease and joke around and had the best smile. His laughter and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Willy leaves to cherish his memory, his children, James Burnham, William Lee (Candice) Torrey, Judy (Kevin Szeszulski) Rauch, William Michael Burnham, Thomas (Jody Garbacz) Burnham, and Michael Nolan; grandchildren, Zack, Kaylin, Gracie, Chanity, Ashtyn, Shayleigh, Landyn, Ricki, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Paisley, Ryan, and Audry; siblings, Mary North, Betty & Jerry Brief, Dorothy Brown, James & Mary Burnham, Daniel & Rose Burnham, Robert Burnham, Larry Burnham, Rose Clouse, and Rickie Burnham; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Willy was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Burnham and siblings, Judy, John, Edna and Jerry. In keeping with Willy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for summer 2023. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family, c/o Judy Rauch, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, Michigan 48723.
