William Thomas Campbell Jr.

William Thomas Campbell Jr, 76, of Port Austin, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe with family by his side.

Tom was born January 10, 1947 in Flint to the late William T. Sr. and Pauline (Wilcox) Campbell.  He married Linda Griem on February 14, 1975; she preceded him in death on June 9, 2019.

Tom retired from Michigan Sugar.  He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycle, shooting pool, rooting for the Lions and spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his children Kimberly (Patrick) LaScott of Bad Axe, Andrea Owens of Elkton, William Campbell III of Port Austin, Josephine (Nicholas) Corp of Bad Axe, Lisa (Wayne) Dudley of Lapeer, Kris (Terry) Smiddy of Corbin, KY and Jean Catenacci of Elkton; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; siblings Dennis (Linda) Campbell of Mio, Judye (Mitch) Foltz of Waterford, Carolyn Roy of Waterford, and Randall (Connie) Campbell of Davisburg.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, October 6 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Suggitt officiating.  Burial will be in Port Austin Twp Cemetery.   Visitation will be 2-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
