William L. Fitzpatrick, "Wild Bill", 90, of Pigeon, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
Bill was born April 2, 1927 in Linton, Indiana to the late Emmett and Marie Fitzpatrick. He served in the US Army during World War II in Europe. He married Leila Kibbe August 6, 1959 in Pontiac. Bill worked 32 years at National Twist Drill. After retiring in 1984 he moved to Caseville and then later to Pigeon. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles and a former member at the Caseville Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Leila; children Bradley (Robin) Atkins of Rochester, Cindy (Jeffrey) Stork of Pigeon and Bill (Lisa) Fitzpatrick of Caseville; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings Joe Fitzpatrick, Ann Skrobec, Gail (Lon) Peters and Kathy (Butch) Brattain.
A memorial reception will begin at 1:00pm Sunday, September 17th at the Caseville Eagles Club, 7017 Park Street, Caseville. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
