William Hunt

Bill Hunt, age 63, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. Bill was born January 6, 1945 in Vassar, the son of the late Earl Lee & Alice (Johnson) Hunt, and was a lifelong area resident. He was united in marriage to Glenda E. Malloy on February 23, 1963 in Mayville, and cherished the forty-five years spent with his wife and family. Bill was employed by Michigan Bean - Caro Elevator for eleven years, beginning in the 1960s. After leaving the Caro Elevator, he was self employed as a musician, playing with the band “Glenda and the Country Four.” Bill loved woodworking and selling his work at his store located in Caro. Surviving is his wife, Glenda E. Hunt of Caro; two daughters, Carla L. Crosby of Caro and Dawn M. & Bryan Tetil of Huntertown, Indiana; three grandchildren, Steven Crosby of Caro, Gabriel and Jeb Tetil of Huntertown, Indiana; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Lois & Richard Sutton of Caro, Sally & Dale Seeley of Rose City, Bob Hunt of Mansfield, Texas and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley M. Best and Ruth A. Shunk.
