William L. Jahr

William L. Jahr, age 60, of Sebewaing, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, August 13, 2011. He was born October 20, 1950 in Pigeon to the late Robert and Mavis (Hall) Jahr. He married Nina E. Trisler, April 6, 1974 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. He is a retired veteran of the Navy, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard after serving 23 years in the service. He was currently employed with Sebewaing Tool & Engineering for 33years. He was a great marksman, hunter, musician machinist, husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nina E. Jahr. His loving children, Ryan (Heather) Jahr and Melanie (Gary) Hellick. He is the proud grandfather of Ethan and Faith Jahr. Dear brother of Julianne (Donald) Eisele. Uncle of Catherine & Barbara Eisele.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 3-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

Funeral service will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebewaing.

Memorial donations may be made to The Classic Legacy Band of Saginaw, Brian's House, or Holy Family Catholic Church.
