William Noto

William Noto of Mayville, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw. William was born July 2, 1932 in Detroit, the son of the late William Vito and Louise (Cipriano) Noto. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. William was employed as a supervisor with the Department of Public Works for Clinton Township. Following his retirement from that job, he eventually moved to Alpena and on to this area in 2014. William is survived by three children, Cindy Genna, Deborah Kraft and husband, John, and William Noto III, all of Clinton Township; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerry Noto and wife, Jane; and one sister Angie Foreman and husband, Earl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Noto; one son, Peter Noto; and two brothers, Peter Noto and Charlie Noto. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
