William T. "Bill" Prill, age 53, of Elkton, died Sunday evening, November 7, at Hills and Dales Hospital, Cass City of complications following a heart attack two months ago.
He was born January 7, 1951 in Bad Axe to Thomas and Flora (Hubbard) Prill and moved to Elkton in his teens.
On September 16, 1972, he was united in marriage to Laura L. Wiederhold at Faith Gospel, Bad Axe.
Bill worked at Wiederhold Repair for several years and at Boom Construction before starting his own business, Bill's Home Improvements in 1989.
He was a member of the Community Wesleyan Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an excellent father, giving all for his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife Laura; four children, Thomas Prill and his friend, Maria Martinez, Melissa Prill, Matt Prill and Tarah Prill all of Elkton; two grandsons, Travis and Mason and his parents, Thomas and Flora Prill of Ubly. Also surviving are four brothers, Paul (Gail) Prill of Mayville, Raymond Prill of New York, Alex (Theresa) Prill and Ed (Cheryl) Prill both of Bad Axe and two sisters, Mary Prill of Deckerville and Betty (Bill) Younglove of Cass City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, November 11, at the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Rev. Deweerd Smith, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and at the church after 10 AM Thursday.
Memorials may be given to the family.
