William A. "Will" Fruend

William “Will” A. Freund age 43, of Elkton died Wednesday evening, March 12, at Huron Medical Center Emergency Room following a heart attack.

He was born February 26, 1971 in Abington PA to Audrey (Grzesiak) Fruend and the late William Fruend and moved with his family to Elkton in his youth. Will graduated from Laker High School in 1989.

Will knew he was called to be a trucker and began driving shortly after high school, driving for several different companies, including LCT out of Florida and Great Plains Transport out of Fargo, ND, with whom he’s been with the past 7 years.

While on the road he met the love of his life, Janell D. Armond, they married April 18, 2009 in Bad Axe.

Surviving are his wife, Janell; his mother, Audrey Fruend of Bad Axe; a brother, Paul (Amy) Fruend of Allentown, PA; grandmother, Helen Fruend of Detroit and his aunt, Judy Fruend of Detroit.

No services or visitation are planned at this time, arrangements handled through Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton.
