Willis C. "Bill" Hurdelbrink

Willis C. “Bill” Hurdelbrink, 93, of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at home under hospice care.

Bill was born July 19, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Edwin and Alvena (Reisbach) Hurdelbrink.  In 1947 he graduated from Bay City Central High School and then attended Bay City Junior College.  He married Muriel Brugge on September 14, 1952.

Bill served 8 years in the Michigan National Guard.  He owned and operated Hurdelbrink Photography in Sebewaing for 38 years, retiring in 1990.  He was a member of Cross Lutheran Church, Michigan Photographers Society, and Sebewaing Rotary.  He enjoyed square dancing and camper caravans to Mexico, Alaska, Canada, and National Parks.

Bill is survived by his wife Muriel; sons Keith (Terri) of El Reno, OK, Kevin (Veronica) of Tulsa, OK and Kim (Wendy) of Elmhurst, IL; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and James.

No services are planned.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Memorials in his memory can be made to Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon.
