Wilma R. Kraft
Wilma Rosa Kraft, 91, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born December 12, 1924 in Bach, MI to the late Charles & Rosa Luckhard.
She was baptized at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bach and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Wilma graduated from Sebewaing High School in the class of 1944 and then began her studies at Central State Teachers College in Mt. Pleasant. Her quick wit, spirited laugh and passion for others were expressed through her many years in the teaching profession. A descendent of Lutheran missionaries instilled her love of the church. All who knew her will sorely miss her engaging personality.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Kurt Kraft of Jacksonville, FL and Wayne Kraft (Cindy) of Greer, SC; 3 grandchildren, Katie Moore, Kimberly Mogan, Kory Kraft; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Dr. Leonard E. Kraft, her parents, Charles and Rosa Luckhard, and her siblings, Reinhard Luckhard, Hilda Simmet Ewald and Edgar Luckhard.
Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home from 5-8pm. The funeral will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanel Lutheran Church Music Fund.
