Wilma E. Ray, age 86 years, of Caro, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2006, at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born on September 13, 1919, in Omaha, Nebraska, moved to Iowa, and when she was 13 years of age, came to Saginaw to live with an aunt. The former Wilma Hill married Burleigh F. Ray, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Ray was a homemaker and a former member of St. Peter and Paul in Saginaw. She loved chocolate and was an avid sports fan, with a special soft spot for the Detroit Tigers. She is survived by her son, William (Diane) Ray, of Caro; three grandchildren, Christopher (Chrisandra) Erskine of Saginaw, Kelly (Nic) Spaulding of Saginaw, and Brian (Colleen) Ray of Georgia: two step-granddaughters, Laura and Jill Mc Creedy; four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, Hayley and Brooklyn; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Hill and Marie. There will be a memorial service on Friday, April 21, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel in St. Andrews Cemetery in Saginaw with Rev. Father John Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the cemetery chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G.
