Yang Soon Kim Trompics

Yang Soon “Kim” Trompics, 79, of Caseville passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at home under hospice care.

Kim was born November 14, 1942 in Seoul, South Korea to the late Joung Kim and Kim Joung Oak. She married James Doke in 1963 in South Korea while he was stationed there. He died in 1966 in Vietnam. She moved to Oklahoma in 1966 and married Harry Trompics in 1967. She moved to Detroit in 1967 and retired to Caseville in 2001. She retired from Borg-Warner as a press operator in 1998. Kim loved nature and animals.

Kim has no surviving family, but she will be missed by many friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, June 23rd at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Thursday.
