Zachary Harp

Zachary Dillon Harp, age 16, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011. He was born on July 14, 1994 in Saginaw to Adam and Linda (Rands) Harp. Zachary was a lifelong resident of Tuscola County, having lived in Cass City and Caro. He attended Caro Schools and was currently a student at Owendale-Gagetown High School. In addition to his school attendance, he was involved in wrestling at Caro and played football at each school he attended. He loved dirt bike riding, stock car racing, four wheeling, skateboarding, structured contact sports, and hoped to someday be a boxer. He enjoyed driving his Super Nova. He is survived by his parents, Adam and Linda Harp; his siblings, Adam (Hope) Harp of Sebewaing, Derik Harp and Ethan Harp at home; his paternal grandparents, Don and Judy Harp of Williamsburg, Kentucky; his maternal grandparents, John and Janice Rands of Cass City; three nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his special friend, Kayla. He was preceded in death by all of his great-grandparents. The funeral will be held at the CARO CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 1494 Purdy Road, Caro, Michigan on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ben Walls, Gagetown Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the CARO CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 1494 Purdy Road, Caro, Michigan on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Zachary Harp family discretionary fund, c/o Adam Harp, 302 S.
