Zachary Frank Nitz

Zachary F. Nitz, age 22, of Sebewaing, passed away suddenly, Monday, January 23, 2017.

Zachary was born August 5, 1994, in Bay City, to Randall and Christine (Long) Nitz. He was baptized and confirmed at New Salem Lutheran Church. He attended New Salem Lutheran School through the 8th grade and graduated from USA High School in 2012. He then attended and graduated from Baker College in Owosso. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Countryside. He was known to his friends as "Thunder". He enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4 wheelers, snowmobiling, tinkering on just about anything, and hanging out with his friends.

Zachary is survived by his parents: Randall and Christine Nitz; sister: Ashley (Jared) Bills; niece, Brooklyn Bills; girlfriend, Casey Rabideau; many aunts, uncles, cousins, special Aunt, Barb Crowder; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Bradley.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.

The service will be Friday, January 27, 2017, at New Salem Lutheran Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at New Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Sebewaing.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
